Wholesale Delivery Driver

Job description
The Wholesale Delivery Driver is responsible for the prompt and consistent delivery of our wholesale cannabis products in compliance with all company, county, and state regulations. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness delivery of goods to predetermined customers and Harborside dispensaries, reviewing orders before delivery and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all-inclusive)

Delivers safety a wide variety of cannabis products to Harborside dispensaries, 3rd party dispensaries, and wholesale customers through different routes
Follows delivery driving routes and time schedules as determined by the company/customer.
Loads and Inspects orders, and related supplies, before and after loading for accuracy of order.
Transfers returned/rejected products back to the location with detailed justification.
Unloads all returned/rejected products and places them in the designated area.
Completes delivery and pick-up paperwork promptly and accurately, ensuring all orders are accounted for and obtains customer signatures upon delivery.
Reviews and maintains company licenses and permits, customer paperwork to ensure legal compliance and accuracy.
Ensures that cannabis goods are not visible to the public and that cannabis goods are locked in a fully enclosed box, container, or cage secured on the inside of the vehicle.
Attends to cannabis goods during working hours while on meal and rest periods ensure the vehicle is locked at all times.
Delivers and ensures the inventory ledger of all cannabis goods is provided to the licensed customer. The inventory ledger shall include the type of goods, the brand, the retail value, the track and trace identifier, and the weight.
Maintains a safe, clean, compliant delivery vehicle and schedules vehicle inspections and vehicle maintenance as needed.
Adheres to the road's standards by safely operating vehicles and complying with state and local driving rules and regulations. Utilizes Harborside communication equipment (GPS, company phone, Bluetooth) to communicate with the central office and customers safely.

Must understand cannabis laws, rules, and regulations set forth by the state and local authorities.
Ability to be flexible and work in various department sectors as needed and/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to helping other departments.
Ability to evaluate and adapt to new processing methods, meet or exceed established production goals, and/or modify technique/procedures.
Fundamental knowledge and the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to the delivery/inventory process.
Shows self-motivation/innovation and the ability to work well with all staff members, vendors, customers, and work well independently.
Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately while not overstepping chain of command.
Communicates, interacts, and works effectively with others; receptive to feedback and coaching; voices concern in a constructive manner.
Follow all safety protocols and policies. Demonstrates commitment to safety first; communicates safety concerns; promotes a safe work environment based on established safety standards and training.
Work scheduled shifts and show up on time and ready to work; record all time worked accurately, promptly, and honestly.


Regularly required to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Must be able to sit for extended periods while maintaining focus.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and balance up to 50 lbs. and be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products.
Work is performed in a fast-paced cannabis grow location.
Work is performed inside warehouse facilities, freezers, or greenhouses.
Work is subject to weather conditions, including rain and extreme hot or cold temperatures.
May require working rotating shifts with varied hours/day, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and have intermediate accounting and math skills.
Ability to anticipate and correct potential problems by regularly assessing and updating protocols.
Valid California Driver's license and Clean DMV and driving record.
Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheet, and Google Docs.
Must be a minimum of 21 years old per state regulations and pass a criminal background check
