Job description
We are looking for a Vice President of Operations in Clackamas, OR.
Summary
The Vice President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of Wyld.
The Vice President of Operations will oversee and manage a wide range of the business. They are responsible for implementing strategic change to increase quality, productivity and employee satisfaction. They work with all departments in the company to ensure directing activities are consistent in established policies, goals and company objectives. They use and think of strategic methods to improve processes and management methods, leading to the success of the company. They provide guidelines within the operations to ensure culture & improvement.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule. A successful candidate will have experience and enjoy a fast-paced, growing company, in an ever-changing industry.
Duties & Responsibilities

Define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes
Manage the quarterly and annual budgeting process
Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues
Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of operations
Coordinate support to departments throughout the business
Interview, hire, train, and mentor the operations management team
Provide regular performance updates to the Executive leadership team
Identifies training needs and constructs an effective training program for daily operations in our facilities
Assist in structuring benefits packages and measuring their success
Use data to make informed business decisions
Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, and systems to improve and streamline organizational flow and resources by leveraging technology to enhance the company's success
Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and meet company goals. Presents performance reports and metrics
Collaborates with other departments to carry out the company goals and objectives
Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution
Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects
Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management
Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must have active Oregon Liquor Control Commission (“OLCC”) marijuana worker permit
Must be proficient in Excel, data analysis and other inventory management systems
High attention to detail with a positive, goal orientated attitude
Problem solver that thrives under pressure in a fast pace environment
Excellent in conflict resolution, communication, learning and teaching an array of subjects
Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company
Possess advanced mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Perform advanced visual quality inspections on products

Required Skills & Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff in the department
Oversees the daily workflow of a wide range of departments
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
