Vice President of Engineering

We are looking for an accomplished engineering leader with experience managing and scaling teams focused on delivering business value in a fast-paced innovative environment. Successful candidates will be confident and adept with technical engineering management and have a demonstrated ability to build, develop, and manage teams. You can communicate effectively with key stakeholders across the organization and work with Product teams to shape ideas.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Accomplish:

-Leading the team through management and mentorship.

-Developing the team to ensure quality end products.

-Design, implement and monitor all operations and key performance metrics/operational efficiency for the engineering team.

-Develop procedures to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.

-Know how to recruit and develop top engineering talent.

-Build, develop, and manage the engineering team capable of carrying out initiatives.

-Recommending technological developments and improvements inefficiency.

-Understand and collaborate on the complete product lifecycle from concept to execution.

-Recommends new technology and ideas to improve productivity and efficiency.

-Preparing and optimizing budgets.

Experience

Requirements:

-Engineering or similar degree, or related experience.

-Strong organizational leadership skills.

-Experience in recruiting engineers and contributors.

-Previous working experience in software design and developing customer-orientated platforms.

-Must be knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change management.

-Experience in working with, establishing best practices

-Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills with the ability to explain approaches to all levels in the organization including key stakeholders.

Education
