Harvest and Post-Processing Technicians are responsible for performing day-to-day operational tasks. This is a very physical job that requires hard work and dedication. Harvest and Post-Processing Technicians support harvest and post-processing operations, cultivation operations, as well as perform routine maintenance and cleaning. Harvest and Post-Processing Technicians report directly to the Harvest and Post-Processing Supervisor and Harvest and Post-Processing Lead.
Duties and responsibilities
Harvest and Post-Processing Technicians perform the day-to-day harvest and post-processing tasks within the facility. These responsibilities include:
Assisting Managers and Supervisors in all assigned daily operations
Performing all assigned tasks in the harvest and post-processing areas, including, but not limited to harvesting, trimming, packaging, transporting plants and/or materials and cleaning.
Following allStandard Operating Procedures when performing tasks
Maintaining sanitization and disinfection of functional work areas
Supporting and advocating a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and quality
Performingall other duties assigned by management
Minimum 2-years of experience in a professional harvest, trimming or post-processing role, or comparable experience
Acute attention to detail
Ability to work well with others
In-depth knowledge of cannabis industry equipment and OSHA standards
Employee will work at a greenhouse Facility in Boulder, Colorado. The Cultivation Operations Manager is required to be on site during usual hours of operation.
This job position operates in a greenhouse facility where conditions are often hot, humid and bright.
Variable work environment temperatures affected by outside weather conditions.
May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses and masks.
Exposure to conditions such as high voltage electricity, combustibles, and chemicals.
Exposure to pollen, allergens, dust, fumes, odors and chemical pesticides.
May work physically near others.
