Technical Project Manager

THE ROLE EnWave is seeking to strengthen its Engineering and Manufacturing team by hiring a Technical Project Manager. This role will report to VP Manufacturing and will be based in Delta, BC (Annacis Island). Technical Project Manager will be responsible for all Engineering and Manufacturing deliverables completed on time and within budget. These deliverables may include concept or custom small machinery to large scale, heavy duty industrial automation systems. Working with Enwave’s Engineering and Manufacturing team, create User Requirement Specifications (URS) and follow thru all steps from concept to final installation on site. This person will also be responsible for the organization of internal records, review of processes and recommending improvements where possible. The successful candidate will work well independently with minimal supervision, able to meet deadlines and enjoy being part of a collaborative and small close-knit team. The accuracy and timeliness of Engineering will aid in the design and manufacturing function supporting EnWave’s corporate objectives and business plans. RESPONSIBILITIES Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects Defines project scope, deliverable and requirements in collaboration with clients Determines resources and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines* Monitors project delivery against timelines and ensures timely completion Represent Engineering and Manufacturing teams at meetings with project clients and other project stakeholders as required Oversees the activities of project team and monitors project task completion Develops and maintains effective relationship with clients Manage client expectations, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction Coordinates internal Engineering, Manufacturing and Process Specialist resources to ensure client project deliverables are executed smoothly Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, health and safety requirements. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Professional Engineer (P.Eng or equivalent), or eligibility to apply 2+ years of project management experience in engineering and manufacturing 2+ years of work experience in industrial equipment manufacturing environments Valid driver’s license and passport, available to travel 10-15% when restrictions are lifted SKILLS Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities. Good investigative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Self-motivated, observant and focused. Professional, enthusiastic, and approachable. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage customer priorities. Project management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate to achieve desired outcomes.
