Fintech/Payment Processing Sales to Cannabis Industry Miami, FL Overview - Our Client has built the industry leading Fintech/Payment Processing platform for cannabis dispensaries. We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting and ambitious Vice President of Sales who will be responsible for managing, leading, and setting strategy and operational procedures of a best-in-class sales team.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do… You are passionate about scaling, optimizing, and motivating a Fintech sales team to ensure new business growth and the client success of start-up, mid-sized, and enterprise level cannabis clients. You are comfortable being the strategic leader for your team and consistently set expectations that will push your team to achieve maximum success. You are a metrics driven leader who understands where the sales team focus needs to be to ensure revenue targets are being thoughtfully attained.

You are a proven sales executive who has experience building and leading a Technology sales team. While there is a sales team in place, you will be responsible for scaling the existing team in both existing and new markets. You will lead from the front and be an example for the rest of the team as a contributing leader.

Qualifications… • 5+ years proven experience in Technology sales and a history of hitting/exceeding personal quota and team revenue goals. • At least 5 years’ experience managing a national team of Account Executives • Have a track record of scaling a Tech company’s sales team • Ability to hire, develop, and optimize a sales team’s effectiveness and efficiency. • Enjoy working in a faced paced entrepreneurial culture and have a willingness to creatively collaborate and lead the team in new and existing markets.

Sales Leadership Expectations… • Establish a repeatable (and scalable) sales process and reporting methodology that can be implemented nationally • Hiring, growing and developing the sales team as well as driving the usage and accountability of the CRM platform • Oversee sales team productivity and track critical KPI’s • Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual revenue objectives to leadership; manage client pipeline, maintain accurate account profiles, accurately forecast business • Be a hands-on leader that is in the weeds helping to close new business • Consistently meeting or exceeding sales and activity quotas as both an individual and a leader
