Sales Manager

The ideal candidate for the role of Sales Manager is a motivated, creative, well-organized individual who has a strong understanding and background selling products in a highly regulated industry. The candidate would be experienced in managing a targeted sales territory, opening new accounts, and growing/managing existing accounts. The position would have to manage sales of bulk flower (wholesale), packaged flower (wholesale to retail), packaged products other than flower (joints, concentrates etc) and work together with the Nursery team on selling Clones as supplementary revenue stream.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly & quarterly sales quotas and KPIs developed by the management team • Build and manage key relationships with business partners • Manage pre-existing accounts and prospect new accounts by using online tools, internal data provided by sales leadership, existing contacts, and your own creative methods • Set up meetings with dispensary purchasing managers via cold-calling, email, and industry events • Coordinate sample product drop off to local retailers using our distribution partner • Accelerate sales with retail partners through a variety of tasks including, frequent in-person activity with customers, managing purchase orders, maintaining inventory, deploying brand ambassadors, and implementing digital & physical marketing strategies to promote sales • Own and drive quarterly sales targets & accelerate sales growth • Schedule and participate in on-site pop-up events/PADs at retail locations • Maintain communication with clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis or as necessary • Travel a Must, they would be in Adelanto 2 days per week and then on the road (between LA, the valley, Palm Springs, San Diego maybe, Central Cali

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field a plus • Experience in marketing communications or sales
