Sales Development Representative

We are looking for a friendly, well-spoken Sales Development Representative to assist our company in expanding our customer base. The Sales Development Representative's responsibilities include generating potential leads, soliciting potential customers, facilitating sales, and connecting customers with the right salesperson. SDRs will have the opportunity to learn about the cannabis industry and expand into other roles within our sales organization.


-Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward

-Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

-Qualify inbound leads as sales opportunities

-Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, social media

-Present our company and product features to potential clients

-Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

-Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives

-Report to the Sales Manager on weekly sales results

-Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Physical Requirements

-Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role

-Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

-Track record of achieving sales quotas

-Experience with CRM software (e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce)

-Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)

-Understanding of sales performance metrics

-Excellent communication and negotiation skills
