Regional Manager

Oversee multiple cannabis retail stores within the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This role’s key objectives are to provide top level customer service to TFS consumers, drive sales, attend and participate in events, ensure compliance with the State of Michigan laws and regulations, staff education, onboarding and training and building brand loyalty and awareness. This role is contributes to the following: Profit and Loss Building Teams/Performance Provide training Company wide execution Margin and expense control Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have NO felony convictions. Background Check is required. Valid form of identification

Responsibilities

  • Review operational records and reports of store managers to project sales and to determine store profitability
  • In charge of interviewing, hiring, coordinating, mentoring and disciplining store managers
  • Coordinate sales and promotional activities of store managers based on company KPI's
  • Act as a liaison between headquarters and assigned branches
  • Work with multiple stores and managers across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, frequently visiting all stores.
  • Vehicle will be provided.
  • Travel will be within the state of MI
  • Inspect premises of assigned stores to ensure that adequate security exists and that physical facilities comply with safety and environmental codes and ordinances, and internal procedures
  • Additional duties; including but not limited to sales generation ensuring maximum sales and profit goals, loss prevention, operations, merchandising and employee development
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • The Regional Manager is highly engaged in store visits, providing an opportunity for a fun, motivated and energized store environment.
  • The proven ability to motivate and develop Associates at all levels.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule depending on the needs of the business; will require work on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral), solid planning and organizational skills, a strong understanding of the financial aspects of the retail business.
  • Additional duties: including but not limited to set up, training, moving, and full new store launches

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds at a time
  • Prolonged periods standing at a sales counter and working on a computer

  • TFS operates in full compliance with all rules and regulations enforced by the State of Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and Marihuana Regulatory Agency (MRA). Further, TFS operates in full compliance with the rules and regulations of each municipality they are located within. To operate in compliance with such rules and regulations, employees are required to follow all policies created and enforced by and within TFS facilities.
  • Prolonged periods standing at a sales counter and working on a computer
  • Must be able to remain calm and collected in a busy retail environment
  • May have to perform job duties outside of the facility if offering curbside services

Experience

  • Licensed cannabis product knowledge.
  • 5 -8 years related multi -site retail experience

Education

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four -year college or university in business, marketing, management, finance, public relations, or other related field required. MBA preferred
