Product Strategy Analyst

A data analyst with 4+ years of relevant analytical experience who thrives in deriving insight out of complex data. Skilled at helping foster a culture around data-informed decision making, this individual partners with teams across the entire organization and does not hesitate to get into the weeds to understand the data. This role will be instrumental in providing access to accurate and meaningful data and insights that will be used to pave the way for our path ahead.


-Transform data into actionable insights used to influence the direction of

-Create and sustain a shared tracking plan and data dictionary for all product flows

-Contribute and maintain clean and performant data models that allow business users to confidently explore our data

-Build dashboards and reports to drive awareness and understanding of key metrics

-Support Product and Marketing teams with performance insights and optimization recommendations on feature releases, awareness campaigns, A/B testing, etc.

-Thoroughly document work so that context and knowledge can be shared across the organization

-Synthesize data/research findings into compelling and strategic insights that will transform thinking and inform product strategy decisions/roadmaps.

-Lead the creation of deep-dive decks and papers for highly strategic areas and present those findings to executive leadership.

-Partner cross-functionally with product, finance, data science, and other teams on a variety of growth-focused projects

-Partner with strategy team counterparts to draw connections between products, external ecosystem trends, and shifting user preferences.

-Strong to advanced SQL skills and experience with cloud-based data tooling

-Experience with BI reporting and visualization tools

-Ability to build queries and reports to visualize conversion funnels

-Understanding of best practices around event tracking, such as naming conventions, enforcing standardization, and how data maps to business objectives

-Knowledge and application of statistical methods and concepts such as incorporating confidence intervals and statistical significance

-Intellectual curiosity with a strong technical and analytical background

What Will Make You Stand Out:

-Familiarity with Segment and MixPanel, which are currently in use by our teams

-Experience with programming languages, such as Python and Ruby

-Experience with data in hiring platforms, or other applicable models

-Familiarity with OKRs and product processes like Shape Up


Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study. A Master's degree is highly desirable.
