METRC Manager

This position is specifically focused on inventory management in the METRC inventory system (Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting Compliance, Michigan’s statewide cannabis tracking software). Please only apply if you have at least one year experience tracking cannabis through the product lifecycle using METRC. The METRC Manager will guarantee the accuracy of Fluresh’s regulatory compliance system for tracking plants and product. They will manage METRC data across all facets of operations at both our Adrian and Grand Rapids locations: cultivation, harvesting, testing, extraction, processing, packaging, and shipping. Using their METRC experience and knowledge, the successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues in cultivation and extraction to manage workflows such that METRC accurately captures each step of our operations. The METRC Manager oversees a team of METRC Technicians at both the Grand Rapids and Adrian locations. The position reports to the Vice President of Cultivation and Operations, with oversight and guidance from the Chief Regulatory Officer.

Responsibilities

Assure compliance with state regulations by having a strong understanding of METRC rules • With a hands-on approach, execute each action required, such as • Create plants as an immature/clone batch in METRC • Create plant tags when clones are of sufficient size and/or are transplanted • Move plants within METRC as plants age and are moved throughout the cultivation facility • Maintain proper plant count as plants are transplanted and eventually harvested • Record wet weights, dry weights, waste weights, and destruction weights, in the METRC system when plants are harvested, dried, cured, and trimmed • Create package tags as products are produced • Report harvest yields of production batches to the system and ensure all recorded data is accurate • Pull samples and submit them to the lab for tests and required analysis • Work with management and team members to reduce errors in data entry and required reporting / records maintenance • In the unlikely event that pesticides are deployed, record pesticide treatments within the METRC system for specific plants • Write METRC SOPs and conduct internal training on them • Report findings of physical cycle counts and inspections across METRC to management • Work with finance and accounting to exchange relevant information for the Company’s ERP system • Audit Inventory Control Forms within METRC to identify discrepancies • Perform weekly audits to ensure inventory is 100% accurate and satisfies physical representation per state rules and regulations • In the case of discrepancies, perform a root-cause analysis, identify solutiions, and escalate appropriately • Apply METRC rules to extraction, processing and creation of infused products • Design a system for verification that packages created are correctly represented within METRC • Prepare documentation for cannabis waste disposal • Confirm that all packaging and labeling is METRC compliant prior to distribution • Design processes for verification of manifests to ensure proper information is correctly filled and completed prior to shipping • Manage the METRC team’s daily operations

Experience
