Marketing Manager

We are looking for a forward-thinking, deadline-driven and detail-oriented Manager of Marketing. In this position, you will help develop, implement, track and optimize our marketing content and campaigns. You will be managing a small design/marketing team and report to the executive team. Most work can be done remotely but some marketing work will require spending time in our SoDo office. Pay will commensurate with your experience. This is a remote opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and develop marketing strategy and marketing plan
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate marketing efforts for all brands
  • Communicate the marketing plan and keep management updated monthly on changeand progress
  • Assist in competitor research for competing cannabis brands, understanding our marketpositioning, value proposition and pricing strategy in relation to the competition
  • Identify potential customers/segments creating communication materials to reachimportant segments for B2B and B2C
  • Develop and manage monthly marketing and promotional calendar, coordinatingengagement with dispensaries and third -party sites
  • Develop paid advertising strategy and content for execution in both the THC and CBDchannels
  • Develop wholesale and retail promotions with Sales Team and Dispensary Partners
  • Develop and implement high level strategies for digital content backed by marketresearch and data analysis
  • Establish comprehensive reporting and dashboards of all digital marketing channels totrack KPI performance and communicate analysis on a weekly, monthly & seasonalbasis
  • Develop email marketing strategy (B2B for THC products and BTC for CBD), messagingand templates
  • Oversee and direct work of team members to create content for social media and otherplatforms
  • Design strategies and manage SEO efforts that drive customers to our websites andmake improvements to the design, UX and content of our websites
  • Organize trade show, conferences, and local events
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms
  • Research and evaluate new & emerging digital marketing channels and identifyopportunities for growth
  • Develop a clear understanding of our customers and determine opportunities forconsistent segmentation, targeting and measurement

Experience

  • 5 -7 years of experience in similar performance -based marketing role
  • 3+ years of experience leading a small team
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Experience and understanding of cannabis industry a plus
  • Knowledge of web design principles a plus
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Highly analytical mindset who enjoys organizing and synthesizing data
  • Ability to prioritize, manage several projects at once and work under pressure
  • Works well on a team and communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders
