Marketing Director

E1011 Labs, is a Pasadena-based startup that is reinventing the wellness space through the lens of technology and CBD. We are looking for a Director of Marketing to develop and implement strategic, integrated marketing and business development campaigns and activities that effectively support E1011 Labs overall strategic plan and business goals. The Director of Marketing will also implement activities and programs to nurture and grow E1011 Labs client base and maintain its reputation as the go-to for the cannabis industry for vape hardware, packaging, branding, and filling solutions.

Responsibilities

-Establishes marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts. -Oversees current offerings and comes up with initiatives for new products or services. -Researches and analyses market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies. -Works with company Vice President of Sales to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams. -Create and develop promotional materials, website content, advertisements and other marketing-related projects. -Communicates with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition. -Provides in-depth information to interested clients and acts as a representative for the company in important buyer meetings. -Works within the marketing budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service. -Tracks all marketing and sales data and creates detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to the Executive Team. -Develops strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door. -Deploys successful marketing campaigns and owns their implementation from ideation to execution. Experiments with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis. -Produces valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups. -Builds strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors. -Prepares and monitors the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocates funds wisely. -Measures and reports on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals. -Analyzes consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly. -Adjusts marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback.

Experience

-Minimum 3-5 years of experience preferred. -Familiarity with vaping products / knowledge of the vape, cannabis industry is a plus but not required -Copywriting and design skills in order to produce marketing materials for both print and online. -Must be a self-starter, highly organized, dependable, have strong problem solving skills and be able to manage multiple complex problems at once. -Ability to present concepts in new ways and from new perspectives. -Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets. -Proficient computer software skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Adobe Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator. -Solid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends. -Analytical skills to evaluate marketing campaigns. -Excellent time management skills; fast, effective and efficient. -Well-versed in using SEO and social media strategies to attract customers. -Prepares and submits regular updates to company Vice President of Sales. -Resourceful, independent, with a high attention to detail. -Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloads. -Ability to help create a ‘team’ culture throughout the company. -Ability to complete and pass a criminal background and credit check. -Appreciated previous experience: Medmen, Cura CS, Kush Bottles, Mammoth Distribution, Weedmaps, Marijuana Packaging, Greenlane.
