Inventory Manager

We are a vertically integrated licensed cannabis company located in the San Fernando Valley area currently experiencing rapid growth and seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to take on the Inventory Manager. This individual will report directly to the Retail General Manager and work to organize work-flow, maintain strong lines of communications and be responsible for all things regarding inventory. The Inventory Manager contributes to the success of the company by assisting the Retail General Manager and the Sales Floor Manager in ensuring uniformity of procedure, organization and compliance of all inventory related functions.

Responsibilities

Conducts daily, weekly and monthly inventory audits and analysis to solve inventory problems. Interacts with team members to catch and correct inventory errors in real time Demonstrates ability to summarize variances between physical counts and system counts. Provides detailed and accurate explanations for variances. Assists in the coordination of communication between departments regarding inventory Recommends operational policies and best practices to the company's management to resolve and eliminate inventory discrepancies. Accurately and timely records products, cannabis batches, test results and any other inventory related requests Ensures each product process has a proper Metrc tag. Ensures that the inventory departments are meeting company standards and are complying with regulatory policies and procedures. Partners closely with Management and Compliance to facilitate necessary reports. Oversees inventory staff to ensure the intake procedure is correct and all products accurately reflect the purchase order. Ensures that proper system transactions are recorded Validates and verifies incoming documents, product, quantity and quality.

Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age 3+ years’ Inventory or Warehouse experience or equivalent required 2+ years’ experience in Cannabis required Proficient with Excel/Sheets Great analysis and problem-solving skills Excellent communication Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and some holidays
