General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for representing Legendary’s mission, vision, and values and developing a high-performing team that consistently delivers the highest level of customer service, education, compliance while reaching ambitious sales goals.

The General Manager oversees day-to-day operations of the dispensary, managing core department managers. The General Manager leads on day-to-day activities and has oversight responsibilities for customer relations, compliance, facilities, sales and marketing. The General Manager, along with the corporate officers will be responsible for business and marketing strategy, financial oversight, community engagement, vendor relationships and workplace culture.


• Support the hiring and training of team oriented, energetic and friendly Legendary Organics customer consultants, reception, inventory, and delivery teams, and provide daily leadership to deliver quality customer experiences and effective operations • Provide leadership and develop a culture of high-level customer service and education, top level compliance, integrity, and transparency • Ensure day-to-day activities are implemented in accordance with established policies and procedures and in compliance with state and city regulations • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, distributors, local government, neighborhood and charitable organizations and the media. • Monitor and manage daily staffing levels ensuring effective and efficient teams are scheduled for daily activities while maintaining strict budget adherence • Provide oversight on the reconciliation of all cash, credit and debit receipts from each customer consultant and consultant daily to ensure stringent and effective asset oversight
• Maintain a dispensary that is clean with a team-oriented staff, warm and inviting atmosphere reflecting a pride of ownership

• Minimum 25 years of age • 4 years of licensed cannabis retail dispensary managerial experience or a combination of retail/hospitality and retail cannabis experience • Strong and proven leadership skills, ability to build, manage and retain highly effective teams • Schedule flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends • A commitment to the mission and values of Legendary Organics • Confidence in leading teams and making decisions • Ability to multi-task, maintain calm is stressful situations, and provide mature leadership • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Condition of hiring includes passing Live Scan and City of Thousand Oaks requirements


• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, preferred
