Delivery Driver

Job description
o We are seeking a hard-working, self-motivated and accountable worker to join our delivery team. The driver is responsible for transporting finished product safely, within given delivery times
o The driver will be required to transfer product to the retail store, complete all required paperwork for both Highland and OLCC records.
o The driver must be able to receive cash/checks and maintain organization of each purchase order.
o The driver must conduct themselves in Highland’s image, maintaining a strong friendly relationship with all customers
DUTIES
· Communicate respectfully and effectively with supervisors and customers
· Able to deliver all products in a timely manner
· Ensure all purchase orders are complete before entering retail store
· Able to handle cash/checks in an organized manner
· Able to clearly and properly fill out paperwork
· Return vehicle ready for the next day’s shipments to be loaded
· Report any potential inventory issues to managers
· Report any employee disputes to manager/HR
· Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
· Complete any daily or weekly cleaning duties for vehicle
· Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements
REQUIREMENTS
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Based in Central Oregon
· Reliable form of transportation
· Must possess OLCC Marijunana worker permit
· Driver License
· Must have clean driving record (No DUI’s allowed)
· No CDL required
· Background check will be run for potential candidates
· Driving Record Needed from DMV
· Drivers must be able to pass regular drug tests when required by HR
EXPERIENCE
· At least 2+ years’ experience delivery driving (preferably in Oregon)
· At least 1+ years’ experience delivering cannabis (preferably in Oregon)
· High School Diploma or equivalent
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Hard working

· Proactive and self-motivated
· Can work under pressure, while completing tasks within given time constraints
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to plan ahead, trouble-shoot, anticipate problems, and problem solve
· Ability to adapt to different driving needs (routes, construction, weather, etc)
· Must be able to drive for 8+ hours per shift
· Must be able to lift 50+ lbs per shift
COMPENSATION
· Full-Time, Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours a week
· $13 hourly during 90 day Probationary Period
· $16 after 90 days
Experience:

Cannabis Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
commercial driving: 2 years (Preferred)
