Job description
We are looking for hardworking, positive, dependable, highly motivated individuals to join the truBLISS team. Budtenders are responsible for consulting with qualified patients and caregivers to assess patient needs and provide guidance on product selection. A passion to serve and provide exceptional patient care is a must. Budtenders will have to work in a fast-paced environment and will need excellent time/stress management skills to complete the required tasks.
General Duties and Responsibilities:

· Greet and welcome patients with compassion and professionalism
· Provide exceptional customer service with every transaction
· Listen with the intent to understand and to make appropriate product recommendations for each patient’s ailments
· Check patient’s allotment with Arizona Department of Health Services verification system
· Accurately enter patient information into our database
· Process patient orders and payments utilizing GreenBits POS software
· Ensure work station area is clean and presentable
· Stock, clean, and organize dispensary
· Assist management with inventory counts as necessary
· Prep and package products for sales floor
· Follow all policies and procedures set by truBLISS and Arizona Department of Health Services
· Contribute to the team and maintain a positive attitude
· Participate in ongoing education and professional development as needed


· Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age; pursuant to A.R.S. §36-2801.10
· Applicant must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01
· Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01 and A.R.S. §36-2801.10
· Valid Identification
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Reliable transportation
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Previous retail, sales, and/or customer service experience; cannabis sales experience preferred
· Product knowledge – must be familiar with the variety of methods used for cannabis consumption
· Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues and inquiries
· Professional, well-groomed appearance
· Cash handling experience and excellent mathematical skills
· Knowledge of basic computer skills and point-of-sale software
· Open availability – weekends, evenings, and holidays are required

Physical Requirements:

· Requires long periods of standing
· Frequent bending, reaching, and crouching
· Lift up to 40 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table when necessary
· Occasionally sit on the floor or at floor level

Compensation and Benefits:

· Base pay is $12/hr
· Daily tips and monthly sales commission can add $4-$10+ per hour!

· 40 hours PTO accrued during 1st year of employment with increases every year
