Accounting Manager

The role of the Accounting Clerk is to assist in effectively running a successful accounting office in a very fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities· Monitor credit card accounts and reconcile transactions· Process credit card payments through Stampli· Create and input journal entries for monthly accruals, depreciation, inventory adjustments· Set up recurring transactions in Quickbooks· Assist with preparation for year -end review/audit· Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements· Record new asset purchases· Assist in reconciliation/maintenance of intercompany balances· Maintain G/L integration with Quickbooks Online and payroll provider· G/L review to ensure proper classifications· Assist accounting manager with other tasks as needed

Experience

Requirements· Experience in preparation of financial statements under the supervision of a CPA or firm· Participation in month -end close process· Education preferred – Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or at minimum education through an intermediate accounting level· Familiarity with GAAP· Experience with Quickbooks Online preferred· Proficiency in Excel· Works well on a teamQualifications, Skills, and Abilities:· Ability to multi -task and establish priority of work.· Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.· Ability to understand items or activities that require timely follow -up and communication.· Must have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels at the site.
